Turkey and Goat Cheese Brunch Sandwich

Ingredients:

  • French Toast

    • Bread of your choice

    • Milk or milk substitute

    • Eggs

    • Butter

    • Salt

    • Vanilla extract

    • Brown sugar

  • Waffle (used mix)

  • Turkey bacon

  • Goat cheese (or your choice of cheese)

  • Cranberries

  • Lettuce


Prep:

  • Make french toast

    • combine eggs, cinnamon, milk, salt, vanilla extract, and brown sugar.

    • all the ingredients can be used to your desired taste (i.e. more sugar, less cinnamon, etc)

    • heat skillet with butter and toast the bread

  • Cook turkey bacon to the desired crispy-ness

    • disclaimer: under-cooked meat can result in serious illness

  • Cut goat cheese

  • Cut lettuce

  • Gather cranberries

    • can be dried, fresh cranberries, fresh cranberry sauce, canned cranberry sauce, or omit the cranberries all together!


Recipe:

  • Take the cooked pieces of french toast and smear of the cheese of your choice onto the slices of bread

  • Once the cheese is smeared take the cranberries, lettuce, and turkey bacon to complete the sandwich

  • Pair with your other brunch favorites!

  • Serve while hot

~can also be done with waffles instead of french toast...regular bacon or bacon substitute instead of turkey bacon...brie instead of goat cheese...or anything your heart desires!~
